Christos Michailides is a well known editorial , runaway, and celebrity stylist in the the business of Greece. His work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Status, Life & style, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, We, Ozon, InStyle, Men’s Health and backstage at runaway shows such as Giles Deacon, Felder Felder, Betty Jackson, Mario Swab, Alessadro dell’aqua.
Beginning as a stylist at Toni&Guy Milan in piazza San Babyla, Chris progressed rapidly up the ladder at Toni&Guy and became a style director. Chris spent two years in Milan where he work for the first time with the artistic team of Toni&Guy backstage at shows such as Alessandro dell’aqua, Amaya. In the end of 2004 moved back in Athens and got involved in the fashion industry as a freelancer. His attitude combined with the technical expertise seen in him established him as one of the most sought-after session stylists. In the same time continued his progress in Toni&Guy and managed to be an instructor in the academy of the company in Greece, and a member of the backstage team of Toni&guy in London Fashion Week.
Today Chris divides his time between working with clients, as an instructor at Toni&Guy academy and being an ambassador of Schwarzkopf in Greece. His career as a fashion, runaway and editorial stylist continues to take him around the world where the beauty of different cultures inspires him to create new projects and styles.
Ο hairstylist Χρήστος Μιχαηλίδης είναι γνωστός για τις δουλειές του σε περιοδικά μόδας, στην πασαρέλα και πίσω από πολλές εμφανίσεις επωνύμων στην Ελλάδα. Οι δουλειές του εμφανίζονται σε κορυφαία περιοδικά (Marie Claire, Vogue Hellas, Vogue Spain, Elle Greece, German Elle, Madame Figaro, Cosmopolitan, Status, Mirror, Gynaika, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, We, Ozon), καθώς και σε πασαρέλες στο London Fashion Week (Giles Deacon, Mario Swab, Betty Jackson, Felder Felder, Sofia Kokosalaki, Peter Pilotto και Vivienne Westwood Red Label). Ξεκίνησε σαν stylist στην εταιρεία Toni&Guy στο Μιλάνο το 2002 και πολύ γρήγορα εξελίχθηκε σε style director. Μετά από δύο χρόνια στο Μιλάνο επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα παραμένοντας στην Toni&Guy Athens και παράλληλα έγινε μέλος της καλλιτεχνικής ομάδας της εταιρείας στο Λονδίνο, όπου του δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχει στο London Fashion Week το 2012. Την ίδια περίοδο ξεκίνησε στην Ελλάδα να δουλεύει σαν freelancer session stylist στα ελληνικά περιοδικά. Η τεχνική του κατάρτιση και ο χαρακτήρας του τον έκαναν λίγα χρόνια αργότερα έναν από τους πιο γνωστούς κομμωτές στο χώρο των περιοδικών μόδας. Παράλληλα, συνέχισε να ανεβαίνει επίπεδα στην εταιρεία και το 2009 κατάφερε να γίνει εκπαιδευτής στην ακαδημία της Toni&Guy στην Αθήνα και Ambassador of Schwarzkopf Greece το 2010.
Η αγάπη του και το πάθος του για τα μαλλιά δημιούργησαν την εταιρεία Love Is In The Hair και σήμερα μοιράζει το χρόνο του ανάμεσα στους πελάτες του και την ακαδημία κάνοντας σεμινάρια μετεκπαίδευσης, ενώ η καριέρα του στο χώρο της μόδας συνεχίζει να τον ταξιδεύει σε όλο τον κόσμο, γνωρίζοντας νέες κουλτούρες που τον εμπνέουν να δημιουργεί νέες τάσεις και looks.
